The New Map of Life (NMOL) Fellows Program unites advanced scholars from diverse disciplines to explore innovative ways to reshape the life course as envisioned by the NMOL. Through rigorous research, fellows collaborate with faculty advisors to address critical questions in their fields, generating insights that influence policies, interventions, products, and strategies to help people thrive throughout longer lives.
Fellows also engage in interdisciplinary learning, applying a “longevity lens” to pressing societal challenges. Through weekly seminars and an annual two-day convening, they gain deep expertise in key NMOL domains—ranging from geroscience and technological advancements to demographic shifts, economic transformations, and disparities related to race, gender, ethnicity, and socioeconomic status.
Many former fellows have continued their impactful work as faculty at leading academic institutions worldwide, creating a global, interdisciplinary network of longevity scholars dedicated to advancing our understanding of aging societies and long lives.
