Racial inequalities
Advisor: Steven Roberts

Jackie Lisnek received her Ph.D. in social psychology from the University of Virginia. Her research investigates the causes and consequences of inequality and develops interventions to increase awareness of structural racism and promote systemic change. As a New Map of Life Fellow, she continues this work with Dr. Steven Roberts, examining how people perceive racist incidents at both structural and individual levels and how experiences of threat shape these judgments. Through her interventions, Jackie aims to reduce racial disparities in health, education, and other domains that affect longevity.
