Project:

My longevity project focuses on reimagining higher education to support adults navigating midlife transitions. By building a global alliance of universities and colleges, this initiative helps institutions design programs that empower individuals to rediscover purpose, build skills, and engage in intergenerational learning. Inspired by models like Stanford’s Distinguished Careers Institute and Harvard’s Advanced Leadership Initiative, it aims to democratize access to these programs, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility, while raising awareness of the benefits of age-diverse higher education.

As Co-Chair of the Nexel Collaborative Advisory Committee, I foster connections among member institutions, share best practices, and support innovative, institutionally aligned programs. Nexel, a nonprofit alliance of over 25 institutions, provides the resources and leadership needed to accelerate these efforts, transforming higher education to meet the needs of 100-year lives.
