FRIENDS AND FAMILY INTERACTION

Social connection with friends and family is a key factor in maintaining overall health and preventing chronic diseases. However, data from 2017 to 2023 show that interaction with friends and family in the general population remained relatively unchanged.

The quality and quantity of social connections profoundly impact physical, mental, and emotional well-being and can impact health behaviors, psychological states, physiological systems, and mortality risk.
