While the amount of meaningful interactions with one’s spouse or partner has increased for 35-44 year olds and those 65 and older, it has decreased for all other age groups between 1995 and 2012. The only other noticeable increase in such interactions is the 25 to 54 year old group with some college education or in the low middle income range.
