Raves for DJ in her 60s

“Tina Technotic” mixes beats for all ages

Tina Woods left the dance floor — and headed straight to the DJ booth.

After bunion surgery meant the London-based medical entrepreneur needed to take a break from all-night raves, Woods pivoted. She spent her recovery learning how to mix music on a controller gifted by her sons. Woods also took her hobby a step forward and sent an invite for her first “Longevity Rave” and was delighted when 200 dancers of all ages signed up.

Motivated by the success of her first rave two years ago, Woods rebranded as “Tina Technotic” and now is in demand from London to Miami. She’s playing sets at longevity raves where techno, connection and joy aren’t just nightlife — they’re a pathway to healthier aging and intergenerational connection. “Joy is a language we all share that has nothing to do with age,” she says.
