Tara Srirangarajan

Discipline: Organizational Behavior
Project: Tara Srirangarajan
Advisor: Douglas Guilbeault

Tara Srirangarajan

Tara is a postdoctoral scholar at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. She studies how affective processes shape human behavior across levels of analysis, from the temporal dynamics of individual emotional experience to the collective behavior of large online populations. As a New Map of Life Fellow, Tara is exploring the reciprocal relationship between people and their interactions with technology, with attention to how individual-level affective and motivational processes both shape and are shaped by digital systems. Overall, her research program aims for a richer understanding of technology-mediated psychological well-being across the lifespan. Tara received a PhD in Psychology from Stanford University, and a B.S. in Behavioral Neuroscience from Northeastern University. She also has experience working as a PhD intern at Apple, on the Intelligent Systems Experience Analytics and User Studies Team.
