RITA PADHI

Investor

Rita Padhi

Rita is a global citizen with roots in both the U.S. and India. Born in Texas and raised in New Delhi, she now resides in Chicago while traveling the world. A proud member of the Stanford community, Rita has two daughters—one a 2023 graduate and the other a rising sophomore. She actively contributes to Stanford’s broader mission as a member of the Stanford Parent and Family Advisory Board.

She has extensive professional experience across multiple telecommunications startups in both the U.S. and India, Rita played a pivotal role in launching one of India’s first telecom networks with Essar Telecom and also worked in multiple startups including in the Bay Area.

Rita’s current focus lies in advancing healthy aging and extending healthspan through holistic living. She holds a certification in Ayurveda and is an avid advocate for longevity, with Outlive by Peter Attia being one of her favorite reads. Beyond health, Rita is passionate about investing in public markets and supporting educational initiatives for underprivileged children.

Rita earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Delhi University and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
