DOUG LOBER

Student of Life and Investor

Doug was a Distinguished Career Institute Fellow at Stanford from 2022-Doug Lober2024 where he studied longevity, psychology, health and wellness, and memoir writing. He is very interested in the mid-life stage with its increasing wisdom, transitions, growth mindset, and redesign of one’s life. At Stanford, he is also on the advisory board of the Bill Lane Center for the American West. He was previously an Advanced Leadership Initiative Fellow at Harvard. He has a BA, MS, and Doctorate from Yale and an MBA from Columbia. Previous experience includes:  Peace Corp Volunteer teaching fish farming in Kenya, East Africa; Assistant Professor at Duke’s School of the Environment and Business Schools; and analyst and portfolio manager at Fidelity Investments.
