Courtney O’Donnell is Head of External Affairs at Airbnb. A strategic global communications and public affairs professional, Courtney has worked in the government, corporate and non-profit sectors, including roles at the White House, the Clinton Foundation, and Fortune 500 brands. She has expertise in developing and implementing strategic message and engagement campaigns, from creating compelling narratives and building and positioning brands, to developing partnerships and outreach plans, to skillfully managing media relations and successfully positioning executives. Courtney’s interests include organizational and management skills coupled with a commitment to making an impact on global causes. The World Economic Forum named her a Young Global Leader in 2011. She holds a BA in American Studies from Georgetown University and studied Global Leadership and Public Policy for the 21st Century through the Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education Program.
