StevensJonathan Stevens is Senior Vice President of Thought Leadership at AARP, a social welfare organization focused on health care, employment and income security, and protection from financial abuse. Prior to AARP, he led the strategy and innovation division at Family Matters of Greater Washington, responsible for enterprise-wide innovation efforts, external outreach, and strategic partnership development. Jonathan’s experience includes leading change initiatives at public and private organizations, building and steering teams of diverse to meet domestic and international challenges in the areas of global demographics, health care, and education. His porfolio includes serving as a statistician and demographer at Sallie Mae, and epidemiologist at the CDC and a public charter school teacher. He holds a BA in Biochemistry from Florida State University, and MPH in Epidemiology from the University of South Florida, and an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Operations from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
