Tara Behrend is the John Richard Butler II Professor of Human Resources and Labor Relations at Michigan State University, where she serves as the Director of the Future of Work Initiative and Director of the Workplaces and Virtual Environments Lab. Her work is concerned with the psychological consequences of workplace technologies, and their implications for workforce development. She is the outgoing President of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and a Board Member of the National Academies Board on Human-Systems Integration.
