Rebecca Hanson is the Executive Director of The SEIU-UHW Joint Employer Education Fund and the Shirley Ware Education Center, serving 110,000 SEIU members across 7 SEIU Local Unions and 23 healthcare industry employers on the west coast. She serves as the Chairperson of the California Interagency Advisory Committee on Apprenticeship and on the Board of the Edge Coalition. She holds a B.A. in Economics from Smith College and an M.A. in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois-Chicago.
