Melissa Mendizabal is an Innovation Manager at the U.S. Chamber Foundation, where she leads projects at the intersection of democracy, capitalism, and global threats. She directs projects focused on strengthening rule of law addressing corporate security and geopolitical risks. Melissa joined the Foundation in August 2023 after serving as a science teacher and director with Teach for America. She holds a B.S. in Environmental Science from Yale University and is a certified teacher through Rutgers Graduate School of Education.
