He is the founder of New Markets Venture Partners, a private equity firm that invests in impact-oriented education and workforce technology and services companies. Mark was an award winning private equity professor for over 20 years and most recently was a Professor of Social Entrepreneurship and Senior Advisor to the President at the University of Maryland.
