Jennifer Engle

Jennifer Engle is a research professor and director of policy and strategy at the Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce (CEW). Prior to joining CEW, Dr. Engle was a senior advisor at the U.S. Department of Education leading initiatives to improve college outcomes for underserved students. At the Gates Foundation, Dr. Engle was the founding director of the U.S Program Data team – and served as a deputy director on the Postsecondary Success team – where her work focused on improving the quality and use of data across the education-to-workforce pipeline to implement reforms that equitably improve outcomes. Throughout her career, Dr. Engle has focused on generating and deploying data and evidence to call attention to and close equity disparities in education.
