Avanish Sahai

Fellow, Stanford Distinguished Careers Institute

Avanish Sahai is a former technology executive with experiences in product, marketing, and ecosystems. He is currently a fellow at Stanford’s Distinguished Careers Institute (DCI) focused on public policy, education and sustainability.

He held leadership positions at early-stage and established companies including Oracle, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Google Cloud. Avanish has served on the boards of tech companies HubSpot, Birdie.ai, and Scribe, and non-profits Commonwealth Club World Affairs and Brazil at Silicon Valley. He focuses on philanthropy through the Sahai Family Foundation, aimed at children, education, and healthcare.

At Google, Avanish led the partner go-to-market programs and had global oversight of ISV partnerships. Prior, he was a leader at ServiceNow and also built Salesforce’s AppExchange business. Avanish was a co-leader of McKinsey & Company’s global Software and Services practice.

Avanish holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson, an MSCE from Boston University, and a BSEE from the Universidade de São Paulo, Brazil.
