Johnson-FreydSasha Johnson-Freyd is an interdisciplinary researcher, writer, and designer in the Financial Securities Division at the Stanford Center on Longevity. She is passionate about big ideas and implementing them to make the world a better place for disadvantaged people and the environment. She graduated in 2015 from Harvard University with a BA in Evolutionary Biology, where she also studied environmental engineering and gender studies. She has collaborated on and led research studies across fields in psychology, anthropology, sociology, and ecology. After college, Sasha worked as a graphic designer for San Francisco educational technology startups and an international development nonprofit. She is committed to sharing her experience in STEM research, outreach, and design to create for justice and joy.
