Michael Duffy is Opinions Editor at Large at The Washington Post. He spent 32 years as a correspondent and editor at TIME,  where he covered the Pentagon, the Congress, the White House and served as Washington Bureau Chief twice and ultimately as Editorial Director of TimeInc.  A 1980 graduate of Oberlin College, Michael has been a Ferris Professor of Journalism at Princeton University, and has served on the boards of the Reporters Committee For Freedom of the Press and St. Albans School in Washington, D.C.
