THE LAST CONVERSATION YOULL EVER NEED TO HAVE ABOUT EATING RIGHT

By Mark Bittman and Dr. David L. Katz

“It’s beyond strange that so many humans are clueless about how they should feed themselves. Evey wild species on the planet knows how to do it; presumably yours did, too, before our oversized brains found new ways to complicate things. Now, we’re the only species that can be baffled about the “right” way to eat.” In this fun to read and comprehensive Q&A article, Mark Bittman, well known food writer and cookbook author, and Dr. David Katz, founding director of Yale University’s Yale-Griffin Prevention Research Center respond by taking on every confusing question that could be asked about healthy food, with the promise that their answers will be grounded in“real scientific consensus”. Paleo vs. ketogenic diet? Are carbs evil? Do cleanses really “cleanse”? Should we eat more fish even though they contain toxins? Bittman and Katz tackle all the fads, myths and beliefs that are in the headlines and in the supermarket aisle. A really interesting article that I’ve gone back to a couple of times already.
