Director at Good Samaritan Society
Kelly is a twenty-year veteran of healthcare and spent 15 years in contracting and e-commerce at Good Samaritan, the largest not-for-profit provider of senior care and services in the U.S. As Director of Innovation and Research, he leads the creation of services enabling all aspects of well-being. In addition to helping found the Vivo Innovation Center for Well-being in 2012 he has also explored sensor technology and remote monitoring as a high tech, high touch way of keeping elders safe and healthy. Customized innovation architecture has been a passion for Kelly. In 2016 this innovation engine has begun to introduce multiple new services and offerings in line with Good Samaritan’s mission of sharing God’s love. Most recently Kelly established a team to promote a human-centered design model that enables rapid cycle prototype testing with customers, and a stage-gate decision process to de-risk progressively larger investments. Kelly’s approach involves an exploration mindset that values affordable strategic learning on the way to creating sustainable revenue-producing new services that fill gaps for seniors and families.
