As VP of Consumer Marketing and Solutions, Katie Libbe is responsible for leading retirement income strategy and consumer education efforts for the company. Her team is responsible for value-add programs and groundbreaking research studies, including The Allianz Women, Money, and Power® Study, The Allianz Reclaiming the Future Study, and most recently The Allianz LoveFamilyMoney® Study. Libbe also oversees the Allianz Academy and Advanced Markets teams. Prior to joining Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America (Allianz Life®) in 2009, Libbe served as VP of Marketing and Product Strategy for the Institutional Retirement Business at Ameriprise Financial (formerly American Express Financial Advisors). Libbe earned her BA in business and accounting from Illinois State University, and her MBA in finance from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management. She is a registered Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor. A frequent speaker and authority on retirement income planning, Libbe has been cited in publications including Time, Reuters, Yahoo! Finance, TheStreet. com, CNBC Closing Bell, the Minneapolis Star Tribune, the Los Angeles Times, and SmartMoney.
