Stanford Graduate School of Business
Joy Zhang is currently enrolled at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. She has worked on aging issues in the US, Africa, and Asia. Prior to the Graduate School of Business, she consulted for the World Health Organization’s Innovations for Aging team in Kobe, Japan, where she convened innovators from around the world to advance solutions for aging populations. She co-authored a WHO report that examined innovations to enable aging in place, particularly in developing contexts. Previously, she also helped to launch a social enterprise called AgeWell Global in South Africa that hired and trained older people to become peer health supporters and most recently was the Head of Operations at Weal Life, a tech startup that is building a tool for caregivers. She was a hospice volunteer and hopes to be able to someday age in place.
