Smart-Lift is an easy-to-use lifting seat device to assist older adults with sitting and standing.

Smart-Lift’s design is made up of three components: an ergonomic cushion, handles for support, and an electrically powered elevating system to assist in standing, and allow for safe sitting.

The unit integrates into any chair or sofa. Users have full control over seat elevation with buttons embedded in the handles. Power system support is provided by a linear motion actuator which raises and lowers the seat as needed by the user, minimizing exertion.
