Austin works with faculty and lecturers to develop and execute the entrepreneurship curriculum at Stanford GSB, and helps to develop and create experiential learning opportunities for MBA students. He also manages the Entrepreneurial Summer Program, where MBA students tackle the most daunting challenges facing early-stage companies.

Prior to Stanford GSB, Austin has had experience in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors in both the United States and Asia. Most recently, Austin spent four years in Taiwan, where he founded the first benefit corporation in the country, taught entrepreneurship in high schools and at-risk youth communities, and founded a luxury tea company. Austin studied Chinese and philosophy at Georgetown University, where he graduated cum laude in 2011.
